                                                INDUCTION PROGRAMME

Before commencing the new academic session 2018-19 DPS, Sector 102 A, Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram organized an ‘Induction Programme’ for the new recruitments. The programme was presided over by Head Mistress Ms. Sumita Gupta, who warmly welcomed them and gave an insight into the school’s hierarchy and functioning. They were briefed about the general code of conduct and certain mandates to be followed during the school hours. Speaking on behalf of the institution, the Headmistress assured the new members of full support, guidance and mentorship throughout. This was followed by a brief introductory session wherein both new and old teachers got acquainted to each other. The gathering proved to be very beneficial as it gave the DPS family a chance to get to know each other better and work in collaboration to capture each other’s fund of intelligence and put forth the best to achieve the common vision of preparing children for global citizenship.

                                        PARENT TEACHER MEETING

The school organized its final PTM for the session 2017-18 on 17^th March 2018 for Pre-Primary and Primary students. The day witnessed enthusiastic and eager students enter the school with their parents to know about their final result. Keen parents spoke to their ward’s class teacher to know about the performance and analyze the best ways to continue on the path of success. The parents were handed over the result and told about the commencement of the new session. They were also briefed about the plethora of sports activities planned for the coming session and told to give their choices for the same. Zealous students were abundantly happy to see their result and were extremely glad to progress to the next class.

                                                       FUN DAY

           ‘We didn’t realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.’

Gleaming faces, laughter and loads of joy surrounded the school as all the Dipsonians soaked in merry making on their last day of the academic year 2017-18. The institution left no stone unturned to make the day special and memorable one for all the children from Kindergarten to class V. Loads of fun filled activities were planned and meticulously carried out for the students. The day commenced with the screening of animated movie ‘Ferdinand’ in each class room. The students thoroughly relished the comedy and adventure in the movie. Students’ joy further multiplied when they got to hop and leap on a bouncy. Thereafter they spent time in the ‘Sand Pit Zone’, where they also climbed up a rope ladder. Children then took a dive into the ball pool to play with soft balls and exhibited their balance on an enticing play structure. They also witnessed a sensitizing puppet show based on the theme greediness which taught them to be content and not greedy. Subsequently they got to show the best of their dance moves on the dance floor. They twirled and waltzed as the arena reverberated with some foot tapping music. The day turned out to be an outstanding one as the smiling faces took back home some memories to cherish forever.
