Annual Day
The Annual Day at DPS Dwarka Expressway is always a grand celebration of creativity, culture, and collective spirit. It is a much-awaited occasion where the school community comes together to witness the culmination of talent, dedication, and the vibrant performing arts that define our ethos.
Marking a glorious decade of excellence, this year’s celebration—Sattva—was an artistic and spiritual odyssey inspired by the essence of purity, harmony, and balance. It was a magnificent showcase of our performing arts programme and a heartfelt tribute to the timeless legacy of Lord Krishna.
The theme, Krishna – The Divine Leela, invited us to traverse beyond mythology and delve into a living philosophy—reviving stories that continue to resonate with meaning and moral depth even today.
From the soulful renditions of the school choir and the expressive dance performances by students from the foundational stage to the senior secondary wing, to the powerful dramatic portrayals and the articulate presence of our compering team, every act was a revelation. The narrative gracefully unfolded Krishna’s mystical journey—his miraculous birth and the joyous celebration of his childhood, the subduing of Kaliya Naag and the triumph over Kans, the enchanting and poignant Rasleela, the stirring episode of Draupadi’s cheer haran, and the eternal wisdom shared through the Bhagavad Gita.
Each performance in Sattva illuminated a distinct facet of Krishna’s Leela while effortlessly weaving together tradition and innovation, creativity and conviction. As we commemorated ten transformative years of DPS Dwarka Expressway, Sattva 2025 stood as a resounding testament to the power of the arts in shaping minds, nurturing values, and breathing life into stories that transcend time.
