Dear Parent,
How we endow our children today will decide our country’s destiny tomorrow. India is, fortunately, a young country, and how we prepare and mentor this energy bank, will decide our future significantly. With education playing the decisive role, the times are changing and the world is becoming one big platform with distance plummeting through advancement and technology. Thus, a huge responsibility lies on the shoulders of the schools today to expose the learners to appropriate teaching-learning tools and make them ready for radical changes. Since the aim of education is primarily to inculcate the quality of inquisitiveness which encourages the children to break the mundane and bring the best out of them, there is a greater need to inculcate the same at a young stage.
We, at Delhi Public School, follow the principle "Explore, Exercise and Achieve" right from the early years, providing a platform to every child for experiential learning, group exploration, and building projects with the use of available resources to achieve their individual goals. We are working diligently to establish a safe, trusting, and collaborative culture that is of the utmost importance in achieving student success.
Working with a team of dedicated teachers and staff, Delhi Public School, Dwarka Expressway follows a child-centric curriculum that is totally synchronous with the new Education Policy and attempts to recognize and encourage individual talents at each stage of students’ development in the school. With the use of technology, we emphasize conceptual understanding. Collaboration-based innovative activities ensure critical and creative thinking thus enabling the learners to think beyond the boundaries of the books, encouraging scientific temper and problem-solving skills. Frequent tracking of student progress and feedback helps gauge their understanding thus paving a way for result-oriented action. We teach our children the deepest respect for diversity with a deep belief that each individual has unique capabilities and that it is our responsibility to tap their talent, polish it and make the 21st Century ready intellects.
We want that education by which character is formed, the strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one's own feet." - Swami Vivekananda
