At DPS Dwarka Expressway, students are grouped into houses named after major rivers of India, symbolizing strength, continuity, and unity. The House System forms the foundation for instilling teamwork, discipline, healthy competition, and leadership among learners.

Each student is introduced to their house at the beginning of the academic year, creating a strong sense of belonging and identity. Every house has its own dedicated space and is guided by a House Captain, Vice Captain, and Teacher In-charges, ensuring a balance of student leadership and mentorship. Weekly house classes bring students from different sections together, offering opportunities for collaboration, preparation for inter-house competitions, and community-building activities.

A variety of house activities are conducted to nurture all-round development. Students learn essential life skills through earthquake drills, explore culture and knowledge in Heritage Quizzes, and participate in Digital Wellness and Cyber Security Weeks to build awareness about cybersafety, responsible screen use, and digital citizenship. Wellness activities such as Zumba sessions and guided meditation are also incorporated to promote physical fitness and emotional balance.

Leadership development is central to the system. Students actively participate in house elections, exercising democratic values and responsibility. The chosen leaders are formally invested with duties during the Investiture Ceremony, marking the beginning of their journey as role models and mentors.
