Role play ended with the learning that to get a balanced emotional life we must persist good habits in us like being punctual, keep yourself and the places around your neat & clean, share & help others, share your feelings instead of hitting and abusing etc. The assembly was concluded with the thought shared by the Principal about reinforcing the good habits in students’ life.

Body language importance - Public Speaking Activity

“Body language is a very powerful tool. We had body language before we had speech”

Body language is the unspoken element of communication that we use to reveal our true feelings and emotions. Our gestures, facial expressions and posture are important part of our communication skills. When we are able to read these signs, we can use it to our advantage. It can help us to understand the complete message of what someone is trying to say and to enhance our awareness of people's reactions to what we say and do. We can also use it to adjust our own body language so that we appear more positive, engaging and approachable. To create awareness regarding the importance of body language while communicating, at DPS Expressway, Sec 102 A, Gurugram, conducted role play activity regarding body language importance during Public Speaking session from 9th – 13th July 2018 for grade 1 to 7. It started with a concentration game to gain the attention of students towards the activity.
