"Alone we are smart, together we are brilliant."- Steven Anderson
We live in a world where we need to share responsibility-it’s easy to say not my community, not my world, not my problem. But there are those important people who see the need and respond and these are our real heroes. Inspired by real life heroes, the students of class I C presented a special assembly on the theme ‘ Our helpers”.
The assembly commenced with the morning prayer which is believed to provide peace and serenity. Students showcased a mesmerizing performance.

Assemblies are an important feature of School’s routine. They are a means to create a positive, reflective ethos and promote value-based education.
At DPS, classes take turns to present on a theme identified in the curriculum . On August 24, 2022 , We conducted a Special Assembly on the topic- All About Me by Nursery A. The assembly started with the morning prayer followed by the Thought for the Day and DPS News. Students highlighted the importance of family. A beautiful dance performance by our twinkling stars won everyone’s hearts. We gave every child an opportunity to be in the spotlight and to be celebrated as an individual. The Pre-primary students enjoyed the Special Assembly and showed full enthusiasm. Students were indeed rejuvenated to see the performance of their peers. It was surely a significant and meaningful Assembly.

*Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness and joy is the company, is the power of the name of Krishna*
On Thursday, 17 of August 2022, the students of Delhi Public School ,Dwarka Expressway, Sector-102 celebrated Janmashtami. The students of Pre-Primary to Grade -II came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna. A splendidly colorful program was organized by the children of KG-D and staff of the school; where students presented songs  and gave dance performances. The students were overjoyed when they broke the ‘Dahi Handi’ to grace this occasion. Dahi Handi is the most ancient joyful game played and celebrated, for the birth of Krishna in Janmashtami.
The Principal of the school, Dr Preeti Ojha blessed all the students on this auspicious day and gave them the message as always, looking ahead instead of reminiscing in the past. Her words truly summed up the efficacy of celebrating festivals of devotion and obedience towards their parents and teachers.
