"We do not inherit earth from our ancestors; we borrow it
from our children"
On 22nd April 2016 the whole world
celebrated the International Earth Day. This is one of the most important days
that are celebrated across the globe, making people aware of the decaying
environmental conditions and educating them towards their duties for bringing
about an effective environmental change.
We believe that School is a place to
teach students about environmental issues, preparing them to be good stewards
for the environment. Experiences that connect students to real life issues play
a critical role in shaping life-long attitudes, values, and patterns of
behaviour toward natural environment.
To embark this journey of learning and
to appreciate our environment, our students were involved in various thought
provoking activities to mark the Earth Day. They were guided regarding the
importance of keeping the Earth clean and planting more trees. Our Class 4
students performed a Nukkad Natak on
the topic “Save Earth”. An oath was taken by primary students and the highlight
of the day was Plantation Drive
conducted for each and every student of the school.
Pre Primary celebrated the GREEN DAY with great enthusiasm by wearing
Green colour dress.
